About The Art

Wouldn't you like to be surrounded in blue,
With someone you love
On an island for two.

This is a print of one of my contemporary landscape paintings inspired by the New England landscape. Although I live in MA, I often travel to Vermont, Maine and New Hampshire.

About the Artist

Jacquie was born in Taunton, MA in 1966 and began drawing the Peanut characters at a young age.

Although her formal education was in Business, art has always been a constant in her life and in 2000 she focused on learning to paint. She spent years painting on her own and created smaller plein-air landscapes. This process and self-discipline gave her the best education on light and color. She built upon this knowledge and began creating abstract landscape paintings continuing her focus on color.

In 2016 she was invited to become a member of the Art in Embassies program administered by the US State dept. Her painting "A New England Pond" was selected by Christine Elder, the US Ambassador to Monrovia, Liberia to be included in the exhibition held at the Ambassador's residence while she serves her term in Liberia. In the Spring of 2012 she was selected as one of the Top 50 Emerging Artists by the editorial staff of the New York based magazine, Art Business News. Art Business News is the art industry's most requested magazine and has been the art industry’s news leader since 1977. In 2013 she was a featured artist with the retail store West Elm where her work was shown in their catalog and on their website. Also in 2013 she was invited to display her work in the high-end marketplace, 1stdibs, in the New York Design Center in New York City. She was the first non-New York artist invited to sell her paintings thru this venue.

Additional Print information

Our prints are museum quality prints, that use 100% archival rag paper and archival inks, resulting in beautiful prints with rich and vivid colors. All of our prints include a minimum border of 1" for easy framing. Photographs are printed on a thick, white, matte paper.

The dimensions listed are for the paper size and not the image itself, to give you a better understanding of how much space the print will take up when you hang it on your wall.

Our prints are professionally framed with wood mouldings, archival UV plexi-glass, and come ready to hang on your wall with a hanging wire. Prints can be framed with a 2.75" white mat, or without.

You can view frame dimensions here.
