I am a painter and teacher. I roam a bit.....most of my work is a daily diaristic response to this beautiful rural setting.
It's a big, NOISY world, so I make small, quiet paintings. This makes a certain kind of sense. An intimate scale encourages maximum intuition, freedom and experimentation. I feel suitably outside the fray.
There is a desire to bear witness every day. It seems negligent not to record how the world looked and felt today.....it will be very different tomorrow.
