Carley Rudd is a nomadic travel photographer working in LA, NYC and around the world. A creative soul from the beginning, she was raised by two artists in Maine, where she developed a connection to nature and appreciation for natural beauty. She is a self taught photographer and her breezy photographic style lends itself perfectly to travel photography that evokes a feeling of blissful escapism. Her work has been featured in CN Traveller, Travel + Leisure, Afar, Suitcase Magazine, Tiny Atlas Quarterly, and more. She was recently voted one of the top travel Instagram accounts to follow by Condé Nast Traveller.
Photography is an exploration for me, a way to see the world and capture the beauty in life’s fleeting moments. I am drawn to clean, minimalistic compositions and soft, subtle hues. There is a sense of quietude and stillness that my work embodies, letting our minds drift elsewhere. Blissful escapism. From remote islands in Indonesia, to palm-filled shorelines in Mozambique and snow-covered peaks in Wyoming, my photography is the utmost passionate expression of my true being as a visual explorer and curious adventurer.
