I am a painter who works in acrylics, gouache, and mixed media. My art and design work have been shown in both the U.S. and abroad. I work from an in-home studio in the metro Washington, D.C. area and am a newly juried member of the Torpedo Factory Artists' Association.

Inspired by post-impressionism with a focus on color and line over realism, my subject matter varies from flowers to fashion to still lives and interiors. My pieces tend to have an inherent softness and stillness about them; a quiet moment in a loud and busy world. While I consider myself first a painter, I am not afraid to use whatever medium I feel is best for capturing a piece, often incorporating and layering graphite, paper, and neocolor crayon with the paint.
