Rayman Boozer | Artfully Walls
Rayman studied Interior Design & Fashion at Indiana University and five days after graduation moved to NY. He began to put his education to practice while working at Conran’s furniture store, where he learned about branding and merchandising, and how essential presentation is to a creative business. One day, very spur of the moment, he gave his two-week's notice and within a few months opened Apartment 48 home furnishings store in Chelsea. He set the store up to look like an actual apartment with detailed vignettes replicating a Living Room, Bedroom, Dining Room, etc. Customers could walk through his “apartment” and simply purchase a little bit of the Apartment 48 “aesthetic.” The store quickly became a hit, and in 2006, he was featured on the cover of Elle Décor. The images resonated and a lot of doors began to open. Rayman was soon dubbed the “go to designer for color consulting.” As the business shifted exclusively to interiors, Rayman embraced that distinction - specializing in combining vibrant colors, exotic materials, and contemporary furnishings to create spaces that feel optimistic, relaxed and effortless. Whether designing a NY loft, a production studio, a beach house, or a flagship office space, Rayman always looks to imbue the Apartment 48 spirit into his work.
