Alison Causer is a Brooklyn based artist. Her work is based on a process focusing on the use of form and mark making to create a suggestive sense of natural elements, while searching to captured a visual space between current observations and past memories. Her work has been exhibited within New York City and the U.S. She recently attended a residency at the League Residency at Vytlacil in upstate New York. Currently Alison conducts lectures and workshops for the New York City Park Service and Art Student League of New York. She graduated from The Columbus College of Art and Design (CCAD) in 2005, where she received a Bachelors of Fine Arts. Shortly after moving to Brooklyn, New York she enrolled at The Art Students League of New York where she continues her studies.
